Horse Betting in Bratislava
Bets on 'Floating Odds on Winner and Placement'
The minimum betting sum is |20|. The maximum possible netto win is |5000| per one horse. This type of bet is conditioned by the start of at least four horses. By the start of two or three horses, the Floating Odds are accepted only when betting on the winner.
Bet on win
When betting on win it is necessary to fill in the betting card which is only available in Slovak. The Slovak equivalents as stated on the cards are in brackets. There are two vertical columns on the left side of the card which determine the race number (DOSTIHY). Bet type (DRUH STAVKY) can be either win (vitaz) or place (miesto). The amount of money one can stake include |10|, |20|, |50|, |100| and |500| (column STAVKA) while the minimum betting sum for bet on win is |20|. The last column to fill in is the horse number (KON c.)
Bet on place
This bet is conditioned by the start of at least seven horses, otherwise only the first and second place win. The minimum betting sum is |20|. The betting card is the same as by the bet on win.
Bet on exacta
The exact succession on the first two places must be guessed. For this bet to be accepted there must be at least three horses in the race. The minimum betting sum is |10| per one horse. The betting card is similar to the win/place type, however, for the bet type it is necessary to mark the exacta (MP) cell. There are two columns for the horse numbers. The first is for the horse that will finish at the first place (prvy). The second is for the horse at the second place (druhy). It is possible to mark more horses for the second place. The combined bet (kombin.) is possible as well.
Bet on trifecta
The exact succession on the first three places must be guessed. The minimum betting sum is |10|. The betting card is the same as for the bet on exacta, however, the stake type trifecta (VP) must be marked as well as the number of the third horse (treti). Combined bet is also possible.
The operating surcharge for all bets is 10%.
