The artwork of Matej Krén (born 1958) is unmistakable due to the extraordinary creative range. In recent years, he has attracted attention at many prestigious world art exhibitions with his distinctive approach to sculpture, object, installation, drawing, graphics, painting, action art, film, music, sound and word. His installation Passage has become an iconic artwork of the Bratislava City Gallery. The exhibition will present some of his in Slovakia previously not exhibited artworks, alongside several projects undertaken directly for installation in the Pálffy Palace premises. Due to the technical complexity and suggestiveness of his projects, this is an extremely fascinating, certainly the most demanding exhibition in the history of the Bratislava City Gallery.
