Wizz Air to Launch Bratislava - Rome Fiumicino Flight from September 20, 2009
Bratislava, July 1, 2009 (BratislavaGuide.com) - Hungary-based low cost airline Wizz Air announced on Wednesday it will enter the Slovak market with flights on the route between the Bratislava Milan Rastislav Stefanik Airport (BTS) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO).
Flights will operate four times weekly on a new Airbus A320. Wizz Air is offering a lowest fare guarantee, with all inclusive one-way fares starting from EUR 19.99.
Bratislava-based Skyeurope already operates a flight on the Bratislava - Rome Fiumicino route four times per week. Wizz Air announced it would push Skyeurope since it was awarded protection from creditors by a Bratislava court in June 2009.
