Wilsonic 2008 - Advanced and Electronic Music festival in Bratislava on June 6 and 7, 2008
Bratislava, May 20, 2008 (BratislavaGuide.com) - Bratislava's leading electronic music festival Wilsonic 2008 will take place on Friday, June 6 and Saturday June 7 at the Tyrsovo Embankment on the right-hand bank of the Danube river.
The festival offers a varied offering of up-to-date and advanced ("reflecting future") music from electronica through advanced and urban music trends. This year the organisers decided to shun the notion of headliners and all artists appear in equal size print on the promo materials.
More widely known acts in the 2008 line-up include dubstep icon DJ Skream (UK, official site), Apparat Band - Berlin's Sascha Ring with a band backing (DE, official site), adventurous Paris-based electro band Noze (FR, official site) on Friday and DJ Bonobo alias Simon Green (UK, official site), DJ Kentaro (JP, official site) on Saturday.
The festival venue consists of three stages: Wilsonic.Live outdoors, Wilsonic.Arena and Wilsonic.Club. Wilsonic is easily reachable on foot from the centre of the Old Town by foot across the Old Bridge or the New Bridge.

Tickets for the festival can be purchased online at www.wilsonic.sk/tickets starting from SKK 770 (EUR 25.4) for the two-day festival pass at present, with the price rising with the number of tickets sold. At the festival venue tickets will be SKK 1200 (EUR 39.59).
