VSVU
Institute of higher education focused on fine arts, which means that it is often the sight of interesting and innovative art shows from students and instructors.
The English name of VSVU is "Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava."
VSVU has three campuses/buildings, all of which are situated directly or in the vicinity of the historical center.
The academy is modern, fully accredited higher education art school, which provides complex education in the field of fine arts, design, architecture, and conservation on all three levels – Undergraduate, Graduate, Postgraduate.
The VSVU consists of 11 departments, each specializing in a certain field of study from the fine arts. The departments are:

The administrative building is in the historical center, near the USA Embassy. The main building is on a hill above the city, best reached by trollyebus 207 from the Presidential Palace.
Their website is Slovak and semi-English. Some parts are translated, others not.
