U ocka
Music club and restaurant with live music, and DJs. Very underground, very laid back.
On the way to Koliba, above the YMCA, a cheap place, they have concerts like punk, reggae, cheap drink specials, and visited mostly by locals and some backpackers.
To get there take trolleybus 203 from the Presidential Palace (Hodzovo Namestie) to the Karpatska stop.
Nearby are MMC, Randal, and Hopkirk.
U ocka is open Monday - Friday - 10 am until midnight, Saturday 6 pm until midnight,
and closed on Sunday.
When the TV show "The Simpsons" is shown on local TV, the bar "Moe's" is translated as "U ocka." This is where the bar gets its name from.
