Museum of Transport

In the location of the first Bratislava train station, which was served by steam trains in the 19th century.
The museum has a collection of vehicles with and without engines as well as bicycles, cars from 1920's-1940's, as well as prototypes developed by Slovak automobile companies after World War II, military and government vehicles. Railroad uniforms are also on display and a variety of other issues from the history of rail transport in Slovakia are dealt with.
Open Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Mondays, entrance fee is € 3.30 for adults or € 1.50 for children, students, and retired people. Under 5 or over 70 get in for free. There's also a special family discount - € 6.50 for five people (up to two adults and three children).
Located near the Main Train Station (Hlavna Stanica), just a 3 minute walk from there, or a 5 minute walk from the Presidential Palace.
