Tour des Alpes 2005 passing via Bratislava
Tour des Alpes 2005 is the another cycling tour that in addition to Orient Express Bicycle Tour will be passing via Bratislava, Slovakia. Tour des Alpes 2005 starts on July 11th in Poland. Biking tour participants arrive to Slovakia on July 12th.
On July 12th participants of Tour des Alpes 2005 will be cycling through Cadca, Zilina, Bytca, Povazska Bystrica, Dubnica and Trencin. On July 13th they will be going via Nove Mesto, Piestany, Trnava, Senec and finally arriving to Bratislava. Next main target of the Tour des Alpes 2005 is Wien, Austria.
The cycling tour will pass seven countries: Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Germany and Czech Republic.
Among the major target cities of the tour are the following: Bratislava (Slovakia), Wien, Linz, Salzburg, Hochtor Pass (Austria), Venezia, Padova, Verona (Italy), Ceske Budejovice, Cesky Krumlov (Czech Republic), Malga Palazzo (Italy, most steep road in the world), Dolomites Mountains and seaside of Adriatic Sea.
Tour des Alpes is 2300 kilometers long. Participants should be returning back to Poland on August 5th. The accommodation is not provided and the participants will be sleeping in either forests or at grasslands.
