The world championship takes place every two years. This will be the third time Slovakia will host this event, as it hosted the first championship ever (1996 in Bratislava) and also the only championship that Slovaks won (1999 in Zvolen.) The event will be held in the same arena as the IIHF World Hockey Championship. Tickets will be on sale since March 2011 in 10 price levels.
