Strapo beats Zverina to win 2006 Artattack Freestyle Battle
Bratislava, April 30, 2006 (BratislavaGuide.com) - 17-year old Malacky MC Strapo beat the seasoned "Tatras Dog" Zverina to the cup, title and SKK 5000 (EUR 164.66) check in the finals of the 2006 Artattack Freestyle Battle at Bratislava's Babylon Club.
The contest highlighting top free stylers of Slovakia's hip-hop scene hosted by Lyrik H and Konko drew a sizable crowd of mostly young hip-hop fans with hands in the air within the Prvy_maj FM festival organised by Radio FM, the national public radio's popular music channel.
The 15-men and one-woman battle took place in a multi-round format with two free stylers battling off in each round supported by DJ Lucca. The three-man jury consisted of the Freestyle Battle 2005 winner Kaidzas, Moe of A.M.O and the Czech MC Tafrob.
After the winner was announced, he faced off with the juror Kaidzas in an impromptu battle, with Kaidzas criticising Strapo's alleged repreated rhymes and pandering to the crowd. Strapo responded affirming his superior lyrics, flow and rhymes and claiming that he catered to his fans without expectation of ever making money with hip-hop.
Zverina whose claim to fame include the recent album Svetlo v tme (Light in Darkness) and cooperation with DJ Jazzy and Slovakia's prominent rapper Vec almost stumbled in the very first round with a superb young and little-known rapper Idea.

i dont know who exactly wrote this title but there is so mant missunderstandings and not thrue infos. maybe just because author wanted to show how funded he or she is, but almost in every sentence there is something not right. if interested you can check some of the source from the hip hop scene e.g. www.artattack.sk where you find much more and better info...only thing is it is only in slovak
