Slovak Wines - Small Carpathian Wine Route
The slopes of the Small Carpathian mountains with clay-sandstone soils have perfect conditions for growing grapes. Vineyards in the region have a tradition going back over two thousand years. Top varietals produced here include the Veltlinske Zelene, Rizling Vlassky, Frankovka Modra, Rizling Rynsky and Modry Portugal.
The Wine Route leads through picturesque small towns in the mountainous region of Small Carpathian Mountains near Bratislava.
Key attractions include a Wine Museum and private cellars with wine tasting.
To request a non-binding quote for winetasting suited to your taste and budget, please contact info@bratislavahotels.com, specifying dates, size of your group and approximate budget.
