Slovak Wines - Small Carpathian Wine Route

The slopes of the Small Carpathian mountains with clay-sandstone soild have perfect confitions for growing grapes. Vineyards in the region have a tradition going back over two thousand years. Top varietals produced here include the Gruner Veltliner, Olasz Riesling, Blaufrankish, Rhein Riesling and Blauer Portugieser.

The Wine Route leads through picturesque small towns in the mountainous region of Small Carpathian Mountains near Bratislava.

Key attractions include a Wine Museum and private cellars with wine tasting.

To request a non-binding quote for winetasting suited to your taste and budget, please contact info@bratislavahotels.com, specifying dates, size of your group and approximate budget.

Also see the Museum of Viticulture, part of the City Museum of Bratislava. Information on location and opening hours can be accessed here.

If you would like to arrange a limo to take you around the Wine Route or to any of the events listed, please contact us at info@bratislavahotels.com.
