Primatial Square (Primacialne Namestie)
In the middle of the old town, pedestrian zone, surrounded by local government institutions, including the beautiful, pink colored, Primatial Palace.
During the summer months, it is home to a Bratislava summer cultural programme and often is the site of other festivals. It has an old well, where you can drop coins for luck. It frequently hosts masses of Japanese tourists with cameras and with its many benches and steady foot traffic, it is an excellent place to people watch
An bonus of the square is that it is a free WI-FI hotspot (Wireless Internet), which is why some of its benches are occupied by people surfing the internet at virtually any time of day.
