Polish Institue

Polish cultural and informational center under the auspices of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish Embassy, established in 1950. Its aim is to inform people about Poland, Polish culture, arts, and science.
Located on Namestie SNP 27 (SNP Square), in the historical center of Bratislava, the Institute's location on SNP makes it convenient to simply stop in when you are on your way from point A to point B.
The Polish Institute hosts exhibitions of Polish arts, crafts, and various cultural elements. Also held there are concerts, lectures, presentations, language courses, Polish movie screenings, meetings, poetry evenings and much more.
Located in the same square are the Old Market Hall, Astorka theater, and A4, among other notable places.
Entry to the Polish Institute is always free. The gallery is open Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and the library is open Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
