Nostalgia
Bratislava is full of film club, where movie buffs turn any available space into a theater for a night. Nostalgia is a large lecture hall of the Slovak Technical University during the day. But at night, as it nears movie time, film buffs from around Bratislava come to watch movies.
An unusual aspect, if you're not prepared for it, is that, like in many other lecture halls, there will be a small writing surface in front of you if you lean really far forward in your chair, like an eager university student ready to copy down the wisdom of his professor.
Nostalgia is just a ten minute walk from the historic center, just beyond the end of Obchodna street - the pedestrian street with two tram lines running down the middle.
Admission is € 2.20 for club member, € 2.60 for non-members.
