Night of the Museums and Galleries, Bratislava 14. May 2011 By Jakub Hanzel

Are you looking for new experience and great memories from Bratislava? You might already be familiar with the idea called Night of Museums, or also known as Long Night of Museums. Most of the big cities already have an event such as this one. It all started in Berlin in 1997, later being joined by Paris (2002), Buenos Aires (2004), and many more. In case you do, but also in case you do not, we would like to welcome you and also invite you to join this event happening in Bratislava on May 14, 2011. It will be starting at 10 a.m. with the last museums and galleries opened until 11.59 p.m. that day.

All visitors can try historical craft traditions in many places in townThe way it works this year in Bratislava is very simple. You just have to choose one place to start your tour, pay a symbolic amount of € 1.5 and receive a special ticket for forty different museums and galleries. Below is a list of those museums and galleries. Your quest through out the venues can also be rewarded with a prize. You can collect stamps at every place you visit and after receiving more than three stamps you can enter a drawing for fun prizes.
