Gentleman to Headline Uprising Festival
Uprising organizers have announced that Gentleman & The Evolution will be one of the headliners at the annual Uprising festival, which will be taking place August 26 -27, 2011 at the Zlate Piesky Lake, Bratislava, Slovakia.
Apart from Gentleman, festival visitors can also look forward to Lutan Fyah and Perfect from Jamaica, AMO, Medial Banana, Prago Union and many others. So far, the organizers have confirmed more than 14 performers.
Uprising is the biggest reggae festival in Slovakia and it always promises to be great fun. Besides concerts, there will be plenty of other activities such as sports, chill-out tents, and much more. Since it is held around a lake, people can enjoy swimming during the hot summer days. Also rowboats will be available for rent.
Right next to the festival, there is a huge shopping centre with a supermarket, ATM machines, restaurants and other standard shopping mall features. Also, at the festivals there will be lots of great food and drinks.
The tickets for the whole event (Friday-Sunday) are currently € 21, in June € 25, and in August the price goes up to € 29.
