Vladimir Dzurilla Stadium

Bratislava's smaller ice hockey stadium in the Ruzinov district of the city. Used by the Bratislava-based hockey team Slovan during the reconstruction of the Ondrej Nepela Arena for the 2011 IIHF World Championship.
The stadium fits 3,500 people and is across the road from Strkovec Lake. It is the permanent home of Hockey Club (HC) Ruzinov, for the last two years and the temporary home of Slovan Bratislava as well. It also serves as a venue for public ice-skating and curling, also for varied ice-shows.
You can get to the Stadium by taking tram 8 from the main train station, or tram 9 from Obchodna Street near the Historic Center.
Next to the stadium is a hospital, and nearby is a Holiday Inn (hotel). The rink is open to the public for ice-skating on Saturday 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 4:00 p.m. - 5
p.m. for free. Bring your own skates.
