Bratislava Opens Sandy Beach at Danube Bank
Bratislava, July 23, 2007 (BratislavaGuide.com) - Bratislava opened a new City Beach at Tyrsovo Embankment on the right-hand bank of the Danube river, operating from June 29 to September 2, 2007 .
The beach is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm offering beach beds, courts for beach volleyball, bedminton and football and a petang course. Swimming in the Danube river is not allowed but there are showers available. A bar serving drinks is open all day.
The beach is part of the T-Com Fiesta, a street festival sponsored by the mobile operator.
