Christmas Days at Incheba
Incheba, the convention center in Petrzalka, just across the river from the Bratislava´s old town, is having its ´Christmas Days´ (Dni Vianoc). 350 vendors are selling a variety of gifts to place under the tree.
Since the even is at Incheba it will be indoors and heated, which is especially nice for anyone who does not want to be outside during the cold weather. Admission is € 1 for anyone older than 6 years old and parking is free. The event will last from 3 December until 19 December 2010 and will be open from 11:00 to 19:00 weekdays and from 10:00 to 20:00 on weekends.
Goods on sale include clothes, leather glass, home accessories, fireworks, Christmas decorations, cosmetics, jewelery, electronics, and books. There will also be demonstrations of handmade Slovak folk crafts such as corn husk dolls, candles, and lace. There are weekend presentations of folk dance groups most days from Thursday to Sunday, usually from 14:00 to 17:00.
To get to Incheba by public transportation, take city buses 80 or 88. It is also easily walkable from the Old Town.
