Bratislava New Year's Celebrations - Silvester 2004
City of Bratislava is well known of its popular New Year's programme in the streets of Bratislava. City of Bratislava has prepared 5 stages for New Year's celebrations of 2004/2005.
Hlavne namestie
This year's celebrations include 5 stages, each featuring concerts, discos and parties. The main scene is located at the Main square (Hlavne namestie) featuring concerts of bands Slniecko, Terne Chave (CZ), Mango Molas, Laco Lucenic and Satisfactory project and two very popular Slovak bands Hex and Vidiek.Michalska street
One of the smaller scenes is located at Michalska street featuring Jamaica Sun Stage. SkaPra Supina, Ska2Tonics and DJ Kvetko plays sunny and cheerful reggae and ska music.Hviezdoslavovo square
Michalska street used to be a center of large discotheque in previous years, but organizers of New Year's celebrations 2004 (Silvester 2004) decided to move the disco to Hviezdoslavovo square that offers larger dancing space for more people.Panska and Laurinska street
This year's news is DJ tent at the corner of Panska and Laurinska streets very close to Cumil statue. Popular DJs from close Buddha Bar play nujazz and latin electronic music. Further on there will be rock and blues music stage at Laurinska street.Midnight
