Bratislava celebrates 19th Month of Photography Festival in November 2009
Bratislava celebrates the Month of Photography in November 2009, with exhibitions in venues around the city centre. This year's event focuses on the 20th anniversary of the fall of authoritarian regimes in Central Europe with the project "The Fall of Communism" and group exhibitions Transformation of Czech Society 1989 - 2009, Hungary '89 and Break-Up of Yugoslavia '89.
The event is organised by the Fotofo Society and the Central European House of Photography with numerous accompanying events.
The Bratislava Month of Photography is the largest event of its kind in
2009 highlights include exhibition of American photographer Ansel Adams.

I am planning a visit to Bratislava on Sat 3rd November and want to check if all shops museums etc will be open this weekend, as there is a holiday here in AUstria where I am and often that means early closing or shops etc not opening at all. I can defer til the following weekend ,so I am just checking thank you
