Guide to Bratislava Hotels

There are plenty of hotels in Bratislava although they fill up easily on busy dates. Business travelers prefer to stay in four-star luxury hotels. However in the next two years, a number of new hotels is planned to be built, including one in River Park zone and Pribinova zone, both beside the Danube Promenade.

The properties listed here may be reserved through our partner website www.BratislavaHotels.com.

Four-star hotels in Bratislava

There are some top-class centrally located hotels available, some of them situated directly in the Old Town. Luxurious Hotel Maroll's is situated on Tobrucka street near Comenius University and was completely rebuilt just recently. Hotel SAS Radisson Carlton is a hotel in historical building with long tradition and features the pompous Suite of queen Maria Theresia. Hotel Devin situated very close to Carlton offer tradition mixed with modern interior. Hotel Danube overlooking both Danube and Hviezdoslavovo square is a hotel built in modern style, easily spotted from far by its blue windows. Hotel Crowne Plaza, the recently rebuilt former government Hotel Forum, is one of the top choices.

Botel Marina is the only four-star hotel on boat, offering unique atmosphere combined with good services. The newest addition is the Apartment Hotel Residence Sulekova located on the castle hill in calm green residential area, yet still very close to the Bratislava's Old Town and accessible both by car and public transportation.

Other out-of-the-centre four-star hotels are Hotel Dukla (on Dulovo square in quiet neighborhood), Hotel No. 16, a family-run hotel in Palisady quarter, offering privacy in calm neighbourhood,.world-chain Hotel Holiday Inn on Bajkalska street (accessible by car mostly), Best Western Hotel West (situated near Kamzik TV Tower almost in Carpatian forests) and the unique Hotel Kamila (owned by Slovak actress and located in small village Cierna Voda close to Bratislava city, Slovakia).

Bratislava three-star hotels

Three-star hotels range from cheaper ones offering good value for money and more expensive trying to attract average four-star hotel guests.

Hotel Jurki is the cheapest three-star hotel accessible by car and located close to the main highway to Trnava, Trencin, Zilina and so on. Hotel Sorea is some five minutes to downtown by public transport and offers decent accommodation in quiet surroundings near the river Danube. Hotel Adonis is ideal for cyclists as it is close to Danube and some biking paths run beside it. City Hotel Bratislava is a hotel built during communism offering standard services but working hard to upgrade its facilities and image.

Hotel Tatra is traditional centrally located business hotel. Another botel, Botel Fairway, is even closer to the Old Town than Marina, but its standard is also lower. Botel Gracia is the longest serving boat hotel, very centrally anchored. Hotel Ibis belongs to Accor hotel chain and is located near tram tunnel under castle hill, ideal for business visitors who want to stay downtown for good price.

Hotel Medium is classic business hotel out-of-the-centre as well as another business Hotel Club. Both offer three-star standard and are accessible by car. Another business Hotel Blue is located near Polus City Center shopping mall and in the vicinity of sporting grounds. When looking for more unique atmosphere, try the newly built Hotel Set offering delicious English tea. Hotel Echo is suitable for both business and family travelers and alsoclose to football and hockey stadiums. Hotel Set is just beside the National Tennis Centre, making it an ideal hotel for sporting events.

Two-star hotels

Hotels marked with two stars often offer both decent accommodation and good value for money. Take Hotel Kyjev as an example, it is located directly in downtown and if lucky, you could see perfect scenic view of Bratislava (Hotel Kyjev is quite high building). Since it belongs to larger hotels, its capacity makes it good for groups and stags. Hotel UVS is located in green neighbourhood not far from downtown.

Hotel Turist is nice two-star hotel in Ruzinov part, close to both ice-hockey stadiums. Two hotels located out of downtown are Hotel Remy and Hotel Rapid. Hotel Rapid is perfect for sport groups and even offers rental of football ground.

One-star Bratislava hotels

The only one-star hotel in Bratislava is Hotel Plus. Despite being at the city boundaries, it is easily accessible by public transport and even has direct lines from Train station.
