Bootsnall says Bratislava's Christmas Market one of Europe's cosiest
Bratislava, December 12, 2007 (BratislavaGuide.com) - Bootsnall Travel Network listed the Bratislava Christmas Market among five of Europe's cosiest markets in a November 26 article by Anne-Sophie Redisch.
The 2007 Bratislava Christmas Market takes place from November 23 until the day before Christmas Eve in the Main Square in the pedestrian zone of the Old Town and the adjacent Frantiskanske Square. A separate market is also located in Hviezdoslavovo Square.
The Bootsnall feature draws attention to the cheap prices at the market: "If price is an issue, Bratislava is a good bet." The author also mentions the emphasis on food and drink and the subsequent good mood of patrons, as well as tasty food: "I go for lokse, potato pancakes, filled with poppy-seed and sweet honey-wine. Yum!"
Lokse are also popular plain (with goose fat), with goose liver or with cabbage.
