Bratislava Biennial of Illustration (BIB) of children's books September 7-October 26
Bratislava, May 14, 2007 (BratislavaGuide.com) - Bratislava's Biennial of Illustration (Bienale ilustracii Bratislava), a biennial juried exhibition of children's book illustrators, takes place in September and October 2007.
The event organised by Bibiana, the Bratislava international house of art for children, is unique worldwide in the area of children's books illustrations. The works are exhibited at the House of Culture at SNP Square 12 in the centre of Bratislava.
The International BIB jury award a Grand Prix BIB, BIB Golden Apples, BIB Plaques and a Hnorary Mention to a Publishing House. 
The 2005 Grand Prix was awarded to the Iranian illustrator Ali Reza Goldouzian for the illustration of the book „Medade Siyah Va Medade Ghermez".
